Buying Guide

reservation form

You’ll need to complete a reservation form and pay the reservation fee. At your meeting with the team, you’ll have the chance to take a look at the plans of your new home and the development in general.

draft contract

You’ll need to appoint a solicitor/legal advisor and let us have their contact details so we can forward them a draft contract, conveyance plan and any other relevant documents.

solicitor searches

Your solicitor will also need to be instructed to undertake any necessary searches on your behalf. You will need to pay them for this service.

28 days exchange

They will be informed of our 28-day exchange deadline and if you require a mortgage, you should use this time to apply for one. Our sales team will have already confirmed you are financially qualified to buy the property on reservation.

choose your options

Should there be any options or choices on your house and plot, now is the time to decide what you’d like.

deposit transfer

Prior to exchange of contracts, you will need to transfer your deposit. Both your solicitor and ours will make arrangements to exchange contracts. Once all outstanding queries and questions have been answered and deposit funds received, contracts will be exchanged.

home demonstration

Around two weeks before your moving date, we’ll arrange a tour of your new home where we can show you where things are and how they work.

moving day

On the day of completion, we’ll wait to hear from our solicitor to confirm funds have been received and your purchase is complete before we hand over the keys to your new home. Now it’s time to move in!

customer care

Our Customer Care team will arrange to meet you on handover day and run through our Handover Pack with you. The Customer Care team will now be your main point of contact.

after care

A little while after you’ve settled in, we’ll be in touch to make sure all is well. All new buildings go through a ‘settling’ period immediately after construction – but you can be sure that during this time, we’ll be at the end of the phone to deal with any issues that might arise.
